About the Team:
VIZIO is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to provide functional support for the Finance team and other key business stakeholders.
This person will play a key role in day-to-day finance function, managing SOX controls, and maintaining existing financial systems and related reporting solutions.
This position also offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Business Development, Product, Business planning, IT, Logistics and other business teams.
What You Will Do:
Responsible for preparing Intellectual Property monthly accruals, quarterly/semi-annual/ annual license reporting, maintaining payment schedules, and IP Product Configuration SKU/License mapping.
Prepare quarterly true-up analysis and journal entries for positing.
Work with Legal and Business Development Teams on legal agreements and analyze cost impact of the license.
Finding existing manual processes and automate the process thru Alteryx and/or Tableau.
The role involves working with VIZIO Cost elements.
This will not be the main responsibility but will need to learn about the VIZIO Cost elements so that they can gather financial data and perform analysis to see which processes can be streamlined and automate them thru Alteryx/Tableau.
Provide ongoing maintenance and support of financial systems and related reporting solutions.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide explanations for deviations from the budget.
Prepare and present financial reports, statements, and analysis to senior management.
Assist with any ad hoc requests, including the monthly, quarterly, annual close process.
All or most of the tasks will need to adhere to SOX Compliance workflows and processes.
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
At least 3+ Years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications (TM1, Kinaxis, SharePoint, Alteryx, Tableau).
Understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial metrics.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships across business functions.
Highly detail-oriented and organized to effectively manage multiple priorities.
SOX experience preferred, but not required.

For California-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $82,000/year.
The maximum salary for this position $106,000/year.
In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
