Position Summary - To support the Controller and Business Director in carrying out the responsibilities of the
Accounting Department – Full-time Position with benefits
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Review and Assist Accounts Payable
• Prepare customer invoices and collection
• Oversee Cash report
• Review job costing as compared to budget
• Prepare Journal Entries
• Payroll entries and accruals
• Sales Tax Return for all companies
• Assist the Controller in Monthly Close
• Maintain the inventory system
• Maintain the Profit and Loss by job to ensure balance with the Profit and Loss
• Manage Chart of Accounts
• Balance Sheet Accounts Details
• Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done,
especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures

Education/Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree is required, and 2 years of job costing is required.
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, general business periodicals, professional
journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and
procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers,
clients, customers, and the public.
Math Ability: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as financial and interest calculations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to
interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several
abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate knowledge of Intacct
Sage, Excel, Word and Outlook.
Certificates and Licenses: No certifications required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports – however, this position as a senior member of the Accounting
team, is the mentor to the remainder of the accounting department.
Work Environment: The department works primarily at their desks most of the time.
The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate.
