Overview:
Position: Accounts Payable Coordinator
Location: Tustin, CA- On-site
Pay: $20- $30/hr.

Position Summary: The Accounts Payable Coordinator will support the Accounting Department by managing and processing monthly payments for payables such as monthly office lease payments, vendor accounts, and outbound payments for other miscellaneous invoices.
Collaboratively works with all departments to ensure appropriate payments are made on time.

Manage and maintain the processing of multiple, monthly office lease payments.
Make certain invoices, check requests and expense reports have the proper GL account number for coding and approvals.
Summarizes payables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating checks to accounts payable, verifying totals and preparing reports.
Create GL account code for invoices from outside vendors.
Match check stubs with invoices; confirming amount and address are correct.
Maintains all accounts payable files, including weekly filing of paid invoices.
Answers accounts payable phone inquiries and follows up in a timely fashion.
Implement timely check disbursements.
Print and mail out checks.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Desired Competencies:
Experience managing and paying multiple monthly business leases.
Knowledge of leases, including reading leases and abatements.
Familiarity with Accounting for Mortgage Bankers (AMB).
Advanced experience with data, including alphanumeric and 10-key by touch.
Efficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, ability to use pivot tables and imports.
Excellent customer service skills.
Desired Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Three to five years' experience in this field of work is preferred.
Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.
S.
