Description:
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing various bookkeeping and accounting tasks, maintaining the financial records including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, and performing administrative functions to support the finance team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform basic bookkeeping duties including posting financial transactions in our accounting system.
Compile and sort invoices, receipts and checks.
Complete bank and other account reconciliations.
Monitor clients and vendors accounts for delayed payments and other irregularities.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
Review and distribute company correspondence as required.
Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
Perform data entry and administrative duties as needed, such as filing, scanning, and photocopying.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm entirely in office.

Education Requirements
High School diploma required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with QuickBooks or other similar accounting software.
Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
