* *This is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist * *position that will start part-time afternoon (25-30 hours/week) and transition to full-time upon caseload becoming full.
We estimate full schedule by 90-120 days of employment.
*Due to the increasing caseload of our facility there are families waiting to be on-boarded as soon as the new therapist is hired.
We are 100% therapist owned and operated – owner has 15 years occupational therapy experience working with the pediatrics population in school districts and outpatient clinics.

*Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:* * Treat pediatric clients ages 10 months -12 years utilizing evidence-based practice techniques at our facility or via teletherapy (most sessions are currently in-person).
* Perform evaluations for onboarding of new clients -- this includes (but not limited to) administering standardized tests, clinical observations, parent interviews, record review, scoring of standardized tests, and write-up of evaluation report with recommendations and goals * Prepare appropriate treatment plans for clients.
* Prepare treatment sessions and materials as needed for sessions with clients * Modify treatment plans as needed, and complete progress reports in a timely manner (about every 3-6 months as indicated by client’s medical insurance).
* Provide education and training to parents and caregivers.
* Collaborate/consult with other outside professionals from other disciplines as needed (e.
g.
– SLPs, ABA/Behavioral Interventionists, PTs, pediatricians, psychologists, etc.
) * Do proper documentation of services (we use an electronic medical record system - Fusion Web Clinic).
* Supervise and work with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and provide good leadership and guidance for the continuity of care of our clients.
* Supervise volunteers and fieldwork students (if any).
* This position is to start as *a part-time afternoon (25-30 hours/week) and transition to full-time upon caseload becoming full.
We estimate full schedule by 90-120 days of employment.
* * Must have availability between 9:00AM - 6:00PM, especially in the afternoons where we have the peak time appointments after school going into late afternoon/early evening.
* *Position is for in-clinic setting only.
