Rx Clerk

Responsibilities: - Perform clerical duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records - Provide excellent patient service by assisting with inquiries and ensuring a positive experience - Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of medication administration to accurately process prescriptions and assist with pharmacy-related tasks - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth operations within the hospital or healthcare facility - Assist with critical care and acute care procedures, including IV infusion, under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers Experience: - Previous experience as a clerk or in a similar administrative role is preferred - Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy operations is highly desirable - Knowledge of patient care procedures in a hospital or healthcare setting is a plus - Certification as a pharmacy technician is an advantage This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
