This position is in-person and will report to the Center daily.
This individual will assist the Director in the Center’s daily procedures and activities.
Specifically, the individual will work with the Director with student volunteers/interns, coordinating administrative activities for the Center, maintaining the Center database and website, updating social networking sites, generating reports, and attend all Center for Leadership meetings and relevant events.
This person will also perform other duties as needed for the betterment of the Center.
Essential Duties
DAILY PROCEDURES
Be prepared to speak about the Center to anyone who may have questions
Cooperate in positive manner to the growth of the organization by providing required assistance to relevant staff and organization’s partners when required
Respond to emails in timely manner
Complete monthly and annual accounting reports required
Complete Travel Expense Reports and credit card reconciliations in timely manner
Complete approval requests
Update website and social media sites as needed
Administrative details for the Center (reconciliation, mileage, approvals, database systems, etc.
)
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Provide administrative support for Center’s student programs, Center events, business consulting programs, television show, and community programs.

Good oral and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills and positive professional demeanor
Ability to work with minimal supervision; a self-starter
Technical skills in Web management, MS Office and Design software
Accounting skills
Adaptability to the changing needs of the Center and its constituents
Marketing abilities – sales, promotion, networking, creative presentations, and logistics is desirable
Experience in not-for-profit or fundraising environments is desirable
EDUCATION:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, Information Systems, or Accounting or equivalent work experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Lifting of up to 25lbs.
; periodic bending; long-term periods of sitting; long term periods operating a computer.
