Family-owned company is providing a professional tree maintenance and management services for over 330 municipalities and public agencies throughout California and Arizona.
Now hiring for a Payroll Coordinator position located at the corporate office in Anaheim.
Payroll Coordinator provides general assistance to the Payroll Supervisor and West Coast Arborists, Inc.
by coordinating the payroll and compensation functions.
WORK HOURS Typically, 8:00 a.
m.
to 5:00 p.
m.
, Monday through Friday.
SALARY RANGE Starting hourly salary is $25.
00-$28.
00 per hour DOE.

Must have strong math and accounting skills, communication, confidentiality, decision making, discretion, and attention to detail.
High level of organizational skills, computer literacy, and basic clerical aptitude.
Bilingual-Spanish a must.
Understanding of PayChex System and LCP Tracker experience required.
REGULAR JOB DUTIES Coordinate the WCA company compensation and payroll programs/systems to include but not limited to: • Create/terminate employee files • Enter, change, and maintain payroll changes into compensation and payroll programs/systems • Enter, change and maintain wage deductions required by state/federal law, wage garnishments, as well as any voluntarily deductions • Direct Deposit/PayCard • Process Payroll, as well as retro-active payments • Understanding of Prevailing Wage • Address payroll related inquiries and requests from employees • Analyze payroll inquiries/issues and provide appropriate resolutions • Assist in maintaining, organizing and updating employee filing systems, including master files • Process weekly Certified Payroll (CPR), as needed • May perform other duties as necessary SOFTWARE • Microsoft Outlook • Microsoft Excel • Microsoft Word • PayChex • LCP Tracker CERTIFICATION/LICENSES RECOMMENDED • Valid Driver’s License • Payroll Certification Interested candidates that meet the requirements are encouraged to apply.
