Kidd Street Preschoo is looking for experienced, qualified, passionate, and enthusiastic individuals who want to work in a Play Based Preschool Environment.

Primary Responsibilities for Early Childhood Employees:
-Provide for the health and safety of all children in the school.
-Provide responsive, quality care, addressing children’s social, emotional, cognitive and motor developmental needs.
-Consistently treat children, parents, colleagues and community members with dignity, respect and compassion.
-Create a safe, healthy and secure environment for all children, that promotes inquiry and open-ended exploration.
-Uphold Title 22 regulations, in particular keeping children within sight and sound at all times.
The physical requirements described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job of an Teacher in both classroom and playground environments.
-Requires employee to supervise children at all times.
-Requires employee to multi-task
-Requires employee to create and implement curriculum
-Requires occasional moving/lifting/carrying of weigh ranging from 10-40 pounds.
-Requires walking or standing for up to four (4) hours at a time with a 10-minute break.
-Requires squatting to a significant degree.
-Requires bending and stooping to a significant degree.
-Requires pushing and pulling approximately 10 lbs.
YOU MUST HAVE 12 or more units of Early Childhood Education coursework including:
(1) Child Development
(2) Child, Family, Community
(3) Early Childhood Curriculum/Practicum/Guidance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.
50 - $19.
50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
