*Teachers will perform a full range of duties, including but not limited to:*
· Thoughtfully plan standards-based, hands-on intervention lessons/labs in Science and Create different desired curricular
· Employ a variety of instructional techniques, instructional media, and performance assessments to promote learning, creativity and collaboration
· Encourage scientific literacy and inquiry-based thought
· Differentiate for individual students based on their unique needs so all students are appropriately engaged
· Incorporate multiple techniques of instruction, including beginning story, group discussion, hands-on labs and activities, independent writing assignments
· Communicate and enforce high expectations and standards for behavior and performance
· Initiate and maintain timely communication with parents
_*Qualification*_
· Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM related major
· 2+ years of relevant teaching experience is required
· Ability to teach complex concepts in a simple and hands on way
· Knowledge and/or experience with implementing the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and STEM-related activities, lessons or labs is preferred.
· Must be open minded and having a flexible attitude, regarding creating and the implementation of science curricula.
· A love of teaching and desire to help students succeed
· Must be organized and able to multi-task
· Management experience a plus
*SCHEDULE:*
Part-Time.
We are open for classes Monday through Friday, from 1pm-7pm.
Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm.
You have the ability to set your schedule based on your hours of availability in conjunction with our open class slots that need to be filled.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.
00 - $30.
00 per hour
