Part-time Integrated Science Teacher

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum guidelines - Facilitate student learning through effective instructional strategies and techniques - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and engagement - Assess student progress and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments - Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities - Utilize learning technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences - Provide academic advising and support to students as needed - Supervise laboratory activities and ensure safety protocols are followed - Conduct research in the field of science education and contribute to the development of educational resources Skills: - Strong knowledge of biochemistry, cell biology, organic chemistry, and other relevant scientific disciplines - Experience working with students at various academic levels - Proficiency in using learning technology platforms and tools - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Experience working in a research laboratory or conducting scientific experiments Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred) - Teaching certification or licensure (if required by state or institution) - Experience teaching science at the secondary or post-secondary level - Knowledge of education administration and higher education teaching practices We offer competitive salary packages, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
