Do you have excellent realistic drawing and painting skills and absolutely love kids? Would you love to work where one-on-one relationships are warmly encouraged, and where a small group staff support one another in caring, family-like environment? At Art Steps, we have been teaching children in Orange County for over 21 years.
We are looking for a kind, fun-loving artist with excellent realistic drawing skills to teach drawing in our highly structured online program that kids love! No experience is necessary.
We train all our teachers in our methodology for a minimum of 20 hours, step-by-step.
We also provide assistance after you start teaching, so that you always have support.
This teacher may have the opportunity to teach in our studios in-person and may be considered to teach disadvantaged children in our sister non-profit.
To be considered for this position, you must?
* Provide a us link to show three examples of realistic artwork you have personally created by hand.
* Have a fun, nurturing personality: outgoing and inspirational!
* Have excellent communication skills
* Have a BFA or similar degree in art, or be working toward one
* Love to work in a team
* Really like children!
* Consistently be available the same times each week
* Have reliable internet access
* Have a working laptop and cell phone with camera
* Be willing to sign a one-year teaching contract.
* Be willing to work on location at the Yorba Linda Offices when needed
