 We’re an organization that prides itself in instilling knowledge and confidence in each customer we benefit!  Join us at our Sylvan Satellite center in Williston and be inspired! *JOB DESCRIPTION:* Our part-time Sylvan Instructors will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group, 3:1 setting.
 We will provide personalized instruction in Reading, Math, Study Skills, ACT Prep and homework support.
In the near future we may offer our Sylvan Robotics and Coding classes.
*Although this is an ESL position, all instruction will be delivered in English, without translations.

* Supervise, interact with and motivate students during instruction hour while working on lessons that adapt to the students' individual skill and pace, making learning challenging and fun, never frustrating.
* Provide students with instant feedback and recognition.
* Evaluate and document student progress.

* If you want to be a part of an inspired organization that believes in fostering knowledge and confidence in children, improving the lives of thousands of families every day - apply today, and don’t let this opportunity pass you by! *Responsibilities:* * Develop and implement effective lesson plans for adult language learners * Provide instruction in English as a Second Language (ESL) to students with diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels * Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of individual students * Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences * Manage classroom dynamics and ensure a positive learning environment * Assess student progress and provide feedback on their language development * Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success * *Skills:* * Experience working with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written * Ability to effectively plan and organize lessons based on student needs and curriculum goals * Knowledge of instructional strategies for teaching English language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing * Familiarity with special education considerations for students with disabilities, such as deaf or visually impaired education _*\*Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is a plus.
