The Pegasus School is searching for a Part-Time Middle School Music Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year.

The Part-Time Music Teacher will develop students' interest and appreciation of music through instruction in music theory, history, styles and practical skills.
Instruct students in a variety of learning methods including digital music, band, chorus, instrumental instruction and musical theater.
Preferred candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in music appreciation or the like and a teaching credential; be proficient in playing three instruments; and possess five or more years of music teaching experience.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess a sincere and deep appreciation for working with children and the ability to challenge bright and creative students.
Candidates should have experience in differentiating in education, collaborating with colleagues, designing and implementing student-centered, twenty-first century education, and working in a Pre-K through 8th grade school setting.

The Pegasus School serves 595 students from pre-K through grade 8.
The school is situated in a park-like 14-acre setting with facilities that include a theater, gymnasium, art studios, science and technology labs, library and classrooms.

Pay Range: $25,000 to $40,200 per year.
This is a salary, exempt position.
This is a part-time, ten-month position.
The starting salary for this position will be based on 0.
