The Pegasus School is searching for a Library Associate Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year.

The Library Associate teacher will assist in teaching library classes to grades PK-8, working in collaboration with the librarian.
The Library Associate Teacher will support library operations including student supervision and clerical support for the design, organization, layout, and programming in the Library.
Preferred candidates are individuals who hold a master’s degree in the area of library science, English, education, library media/technology, or the like; teaching credential; and three or more years of classroom or library experience (as a librarian, library clerk, teacher or an assistant).
Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess a sincere and deep appreciation for working with children and the ability to challenge bright and creative students.
Candidates should have experience in differentiating in education, collaborating with colleagues, designing and implementing student-centered, twenty-first century education, and working in a Pre-K through 8th grade school setting.

The Pegasus School serves 595 students from pre-K through grade 8.
The school is situated in a park-like 14-acre setting with facilities that include a theater, gymnasium, art studios, science and technology labs, library and classrooms.

Pay: $66,500 per year.
This is a salary, exempt position.
This is a full-time, ten-month position.
The salary for this position is a single starting rate based on employment classification.
