* *Lead Teacher* Plans, coordinates and implements learning activities within the assigned classroom.
Creates daily lesson plans, prepare materials needed.
Participates in assessment and evaluation of ongoing departmental requirements.
Maintains records of children’s participation in activities and skills mastered.
Responsible for maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
*Assistant Teachers* Assists in planning, coordinating and implementation of learning activities within the classroom.
Maintains records of children’s activities.
Assists in setting up a learning environment.
Interacts frequently with children showing affection, interest, and respect.
*Substitute Teachers* Tasks vary, dependent upon age, class size, etc.
*QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS* * *Please either have completed or currently be enrolled in the following four Early Childhood Education courses:* 1.
Child Development 2.
Early Childhood Curriculum 3.
School/Family/Community Partnerships [or a similarly-named course with the same objectives] 4.
Observation and Assessments * *Along with your resume and job application, please send a copy of your course transcripts (official or unofficial), reflecting your grades for the four aforementioned Early Childhood Education courses.
* * *Have you been cleared with the Caregiver Background Check Bureau (CBCB)? (e.
g.
, LiveScan completed/passed at another childcare facility)\*\*\** *\*\*\*While it is not required that you have already completed these steps/earned these qualifications, you will need to begin the process immediately in order to fill an open position in our preschool.
Accordingly, the sooner you have completed these processes, the better.
