Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team.
As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide support and assistance to students in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs, including those with autism or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Help students with assignments, projects, and activities
- Monitor student behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary
- Support students during transitions between activities or locations within the school
- Assist with classroom organization and maintenance of materials
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals regarding student progress
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or classroom setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles
- Understanding of special education practices and strategies for working with students with autism or behavioral challenges
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students
- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the needs of individual students
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification in early childhood education or related field is a plus)
