Teacher's Aide/Assistant

Job Summary: We seek a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher's Aide to join our Mission Learning Center OC team in the fall for the 2024/2025 school year.
As a Teacher's Aide, you will work closely with the lead teachers to support our students' educational and developmental needs.

Duties: - Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans - Provide individualized attention and support to students -Supervise break and recess - Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance - Occasionally substitute when teachers are absent - Support students in their literacy education and language development - Foster social-emotional growth through positive interactions and modeling appropriate behavior - Assist with daily tasks such as preparing materials, organizing the classroom, and maintaining cleanliness - Assist teachers with prepping and grading Requirements: -Previous experience or education in early childhood education or a related field is preferred - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and accept feedback - Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education - Ability to effectively manage a group of children - Patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with children - Must pass a background check If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
