UDesign School of Art is a creative Design and Art studio located in Irvine, Orange County with various design programs, like Furniture Design, Transportation Design, Apparel (Fashion) Design, Industrial Design, Architecture Design, Toy Design, Interior Design and more.
We aim to educate students with foundation classes in design principles to specific art classes from college design majors.
Unlike other traditional art studios, we take a more contemporary approach to teaching and creating fine arts with diverse art mediums.
We strive to offer an unbounded art environment by offering different art mediums and techniques to let students explore, imagine, design, learn, and create.
We also have a strong focus on incorporating art history references and introducing the professional and educational art world to our students.
UDesign School of Art is a new school branch of The Artis Lab, which is the largest art studio in Orange County area and has been serving the community for 8 years.

We are looking to hire 2 Arts and Crafts Teachers to join our fast-growing team.
The job needs to be performed onsite.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop and implement level appropriate curriculum for Arts and Crafts subjects such as hand sew, machine sew, hand sculpture with polymer clay, jewelry design.
* Use varied and appropriate instructional practices, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the UDesign studio philosophy and the needs of students.
* Create an environment conducive to learning that facilitates the physical, social, emotional, and academic development of students.
* Provide clear performance objectives for student, parent, and administrative reference.
* Develop and implement student assessment methods that will consistently and continuously provide a basis for evaluating and reporting student progress.
* Document and communicate student progress with advisors, administrators, and parents.
*Education and Experience*
* Bachelors degree from an accredited art college is required; advanced degree is preferred
* 1-2 years of teaching experience preferred
* Sewing, sculpture or jewelry design background preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.
00 - $30.
