Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Gymnastics Coach to join our team.
As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to gymnasts of all ages and skill levels.
Your passion for gymnastics and dedication to helping athletes reach their full potential will be instrumental in creating a positive and supportive training environment.
Duties:
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of individual gymnasts
- Instruct gymnasts on proper techniques, form, and safety protocols
- Plan and lead practice sessions, including warm-ups, drills, and conditioning exercises
- Provide feedback and guidance to gymnasts to help them improve their skills
- Monitor progress and evaluate performance during training sessions
- Ensure a safe and clean training environment by enforcing gym rules and safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress
Skills:
- Strong background in sports, particularly in gymnastics, cheerleading and dance
- Experience working with children in a coaching or childcare setting
- Knowledge of various gymnastics disciplines
- Ability to educate and motivate athletes to achieve their goals
- Familiarity with other sports such as dance, karate, cheerleading, or martial arts is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with athletes, parents/guardians, and other staff members
- Strong organizational skills to plan and manage training sessions effectively
- Ability to demonstrate proper techniques and provide clear instructions
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for working with students of different ages and skill levels
- Background in physical education or related field is preferred
