We are looking for *Robotics Instructors (*VEX, LEGO, and/or OLLO)to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children.
Our instructors are the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas center.
This individual is reponsible for instruction and student engagement.
_Are you experienced in working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem solving skills in young engineering minds? Have you mentored youth? _This could be the role for you.
Do you have experience with VEX, LEGO, or OLLO robots?
*Responsibilities include:*
* Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow
* Work with children to determine skill sets
* Provide feedback to parents after working with student who is on a tour
*Qualifications:*
* College students or graduates (any STEM major or has STEM experience)
* Works well with others; collaborates.
Brings enthusiasm and enjoys working with kids
* Knowledgeable about robotics and technology; or sharp enough to quickly pick up the basic concepts
* Must be fun to work with and like working in fast paced environments where requirements can change frequently
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Work history with kids 7 and up (babysitting, mentoring, coaching, tutoring etc.
)
* Robotics Experience (VEX, LEGO, and/or OLLO)
* Experience in teaching, mentoring and/or child care
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.
