Cha Cha Dancing Gym is seeking talented and motivated dance instructors for 2024! Nestled in the beautiful city of Huntington Beach, Cha Cha is a casual open gym concept with an open class schedule, with a local community of dance professionals and visitors! The studio is also utilized for parties, dance rehearsals, and events.
Cha Cha focuses on the positive aspects of dance and theatre performance.
Our instructors should be experienced, excited to build their class base through their own networks and collective outreach in Orange County.
This includes opportunities for showcases and performances on the Cha Cha stage during our monthly events, and open houses!
In February, Cha Cha will re-open to the public, and is currently seeking morning to evening instructors for Ballroom, Line Dancing, Samba, Belly Dance, Hip Hop and group fitness dance classes.

'Over the Line' performs as our resident live band every Wednesday starting January 10, 2024, and we are currently hiring a rotating group of teachers to join the roster, and help fill classes and maintain the fun and positive integrity of the dance studio and its' community.
Every Friday, we are hosting a Hawaiian class, Theatre Classes for our Theatre program and Line Dancing and Zumba classes, Mon & Wed.

Responsibilities:
- Teach dance classes to students of various ages and skill levels, focusing on ballroom, Zumba, bellydance, theatre movement, modern dance, stage performance and hip hop.
- Develop and implement lesson plans and music playlists that align with the goals and objectives of the dance studio
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students (all levels) - Incorporate age-appropriate activities and techniques to enhance dance and fitness development
- Utilize behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to coordinate recitals, showcases, and other dance events (not required)
Skills:
- Dance or group class certification, plus 1+ year of experience preferred (not required)
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices for Kid's classes
- Ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging dance lessons and outreach to the community
- Excellent communication skills to interact with students, members, and staff members
-Experience with Seniors preferred (65+)
