College Admissions Counselor

We are looking for a part-time or full-time college admissions counselors to work at our Irvine location! As a college admissions counselor, you will guide high school students through their academic and extracurricular work and ultimately, the college application process.
Each counselor receives a caseload of students and meets with them periodically to offer advice regarding major/college choice, coursework, college selection, and all related areas that compose a successful high school career.
We offer each student a highly individualized experience.
The position involves helping students navigate and fill out the Common Application and UC Application, and helps students develop ideas for their college essays.

Graduate degree(s) preferred although not required.

Prior educational or admissions experience preferred.

Working hours: Part-time employees are expected to work about 26-30 hours a week during our office hours of 2-9 pm Mon-Fri and 9 am-5 pm on Saturdays.
Full time employees work 5 days a week during our office hours of 2-9 pm Mon-Fri and 9 am-5 pm on Saturdays 3.
Work hours depend upon number of students on caseload.
