Responsible for educating DCE students about UCI policies and procedures in an international, student-friendly manner.
Is primarily responsible for educating students about the campus’ smoke and tobacco free policy.
Provides information and materials and offers referrals to encourage smoking cessation and informs students about off-campus locations where smoking is permitted.
Informs students about ramifications for non-compliance and issues citations to students who fail to comply or repeatedly violate the policy in order for sanctions to be imposed.
Serves as a resource person to educate students about UCI policies and inform students about appropriate behavior and locations to participate in various activities.
As an information concierge, provides assistance and resources for students and visitors about services and facilities on the campus in and in the surrounding community, and assists students and guests with locating classrooms, offices, and individuals.
Supports building services colleagues by opening and setting up classrooms and public areas, and assisting with minor maintenance and custodial projects and quarterly emergency evacuation drills.

Required:
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Possess valid CA drivers license or the ability to obtain one as required by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Experience providing excellent customer service and working with international clientele.
Experience completing minor maintenance repairs (hanging pictures, touch up painting, furniture repairs, etc.
) Knowledge of University processes and procedures.
Experience interpreting and enforcing policies and procedures.
Understanding of and respect for diverse, multicultural populations.
Must possess a valid California drivers license.
Special Conditions Required:
Ability to drive a 12-passenger van.
Position requires one hundred percent work on campus.
