We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Virtual School Principal to join our innovative online educational institution.
The Virtual School Principal will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our online school, ensuring the highest quality of education for our students, and providing leadership to our faculty and staff.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a strategic vision for our virtual school that aligns with our mission and values
* Oversee the daily operations of the virtual school, including curriculum development, faculty management, student support services, and technology infrastructure
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal education regulations and accreditation requirements
* Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement innovative online learning strategies that meet the diverse needs of our students
* Create a positive and inclusive virtual school culture that fosters a sense of community and supports the social and emotional well-being of students
* Establish and maintain effective communication with students, parents, faculty, and staff to address any concerns or issues that may arise
* Monitor and analyze student performance data to inform instructional practices and drive continuous improvement
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in online education and educational leadership
* Promote our virtual school to prospective students and families, and build relationships with community partners to support student success
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Education or related field required; Doctorate in Education or Educational Leadership preferred
* Valid state Principal or Administrator certification preferred
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership, with a focus on online or blended learning environments
* Strong understanding of local, state, and federal education regulations and accreditation requirements
* Demonstrated success in developing and implementing innovative online learning strategies
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
* Proficiency in educational technology platforms and tools
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, virtual environment
