*SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION*
Strategic Kids Teacher Assistants take direction from a Special Education Classroom Teacher and help elementary, middle, or high school special needs students with autism, learning disabilities, behavioral issues, or other health impairments during the school day.
Each Irvine Special Day Class (SDC) has approximately 8 to 12 students, along with one credentialed Special Education Teacher and typically one to four support staff members helping throughout the school day.

*EXPERIENCE*
Applicants must enjoy being around children and have experience working or volunteering with children, such as babysitting or helping in classrooms.
Having experience working with special needs children is a huge plus!

> Pass Live Scan Fingerprints through Dept.
of Justice (paid for by Strategic Kids)

Strategic Kids hires and trains energetic and creative people and places them in K-12 public schools to work as Paraeducators (Special Education Teacher Aides, Nutrition Assistants, and Campus Supervisors) at schools in Costa Mesa and Irvine and from Mission Viejo to San Clemente to meet the various needs of schools and school districts.
