Fit First is a youth fitness company, that focuses on helping children create healthy active lifestyles.
We run a number of classes including junior fitness, youth yoga, advanced training, teenage weight-lifting, sports conditioning, toddler movement classes, sports specific training, and many more! Additionally, we also have a large special needs section of our company.
We are looking to further build out the special needs section of our company, and are looking for special needs coaches to come on board.
The majority of our special needs classes are private 1:1 training.
We practice balance, stretching, coordination, functional movement, and light heavy work, to help our students get better with every day tasks.
We are looking for candidates with a history of working with special needs students, and who are also very fitness oriented.
Our company will provide equipment and a basic class layout, along with an exercise library, however Coaches will be expected to create their own lesson plans and come up with new/ engaging activities for their students.
Candidates MUST:
-Have experience working with special needs children (we prefer those from the ABA/ behavior Mod field).
-Be patient and assertive
-Have good classroom management skills
-Be punctual and professional
The hours will range from 2-8 hours a week, and will pay $30 p/hr.
We are looking for individuals who can grow with our company, and would be able to also work in the role of community outreach to create referral relationships with schools and other organizations.
This role can eventually turn into a management position after the special needs portion of the business has been built out further.
