Math & Science Tutor

You will be responsible for teaching K-12 (and sometimes college) students using our curriculum in an individualized setting, and communicating with the rest of the Huntington Learning Center team and parents on the progress of the student’s progress.
We provide flexible scheduling, and provide compensated training and ongoing support.
Part-time wage is $20-24.
Qualifications: · 4-year degree a must · Experience teaching in a public school or tutoring center (middle-high school math school level tutoring a plus) · Outstanding communication skills with enthusiastic, outgoing and team-oriented personality · Teaching certification (such as CBEST) is a plus · For Math, we are looking for tutors who can teach: elementary math; pre-algebra, algebra; geometry; pre-calculus; calculus; statistics; trigonometry; senior and AP math; funcnctions & advanced functions.
· For Science, we are looking for tutors who can teach: biology; geology; chemistry; physics; astronomy; geography; environmental science; zoology; oceanographty; amongst others.
