_*All jobs are currently on-call, but staff typically work the days they want to work, from two to five days per week.
*_ *JOB DETAILS* ✓ Strategic Kids K-12 Teacher Assistants take direction from a Special Education Classroom Teacher or General Education Teacher to help elementary, middle, or high school special needs students with autism, learning disabilities, behavioral issues, or other health impairments during the school day.
✓ All current openings are at K-12 schools in Irvine or from Mission Viejo to San Clemente.
✓ Staff will be assigned to schools closest to where they live.
✓ This job is to finish out the 2023-24 school year.
✓ Staff can also work during the summer of 2024 and also during the 2024-25 school year.

✓ On-call jobs are in high demand! *EXPERIENCE* Teacher Aide applicants must enjoy being around children and have experience working or volunteering with children, such as babysitting or helping in classrooms.
*RESPONSIBILITIES* ✓ Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities in the classroom.
✓ Support classroom management by helping to maintain a positive and organized learning environment.
✓ Provide one-on-one assistance to students who may require additional help or attention.
✓ Utilize communication skills to effectively interact with students, the teacher, and other staff members.
✓ Assist in behavior management strategies to promote a safe and respectful classroom environment.
✓ Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
✓ Provide support in literacy education and math activities.
