*LSAT - Part Time Tutor - Remote* Rath Education Group in Newport Beach, California is looking to hire a *REMOTE*, *part-time LSAT Tutor* to prepare students in one-on-one tutor sessions for the *LSAT standardized exam and standardized testing such as the ACT, SAT, ISEE, and SSAT*.
*NOTE:* Must reside in *CALIFORNIA,* be willing to take a shortened version of a standardized test, AND present short lessons to demonstrate skill as part of the interview process.

*TEST PREP TUTOR* As a Test Prep Tutor, you contribute to our reputation of offering quality educational services.
The bulk of our business comes from test preparation for standardized tests, so your role is essential to our business.
Successful tutors are passionate about what they do, dedicated to their students’ success, and have a talent for identifying students' challenges and implementing personalized lesson plans for improvement.
*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* * Help each of your students achieve their academic goals.
* Implement customized lesson plans based on their needs.
* Assess and identify students' weak points and help determine the right teaching strategy for each student.
* Ability to improvise and look at a problem from more than one perspective.
* Record notes at the end of each session detailing the previous sessions' homework, topics covered, any comments in terms of progress or stagnation, and the homework given.
* Take note of any issues as needed, such as students being distracted or a lack of effort.
* Other duties as assigned.
*QUALIFICATIONS* * Bachelor's degree in relevant subjects, education field, or equivalent.
* Proven ability to provide engaging and educational 1-on-1 remote tutoring sessions.
* 5 years or 5,000 hours of teaching experience as well as experience teaching in a variety of formats would be a plus.
* Scored at least a 170 on the actual LSAT * Mastery of LSAT standardized test prep.
* Experience with SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, MCAT, and DAT is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * Dependable and self-motivated * Flexible to adapt to changes in schedules * Ability to work remote with cloud-based systems and participate in Google Meet/Zoom type meetings internally and externally.
* Sufficient part time availability on weekday afternoon/evenings and weekends.
