Searching for a drum instructor in the OC area.
There are a few things you would be doing:
* Assisting with drum circles of 30-60 people- loading, setting up, jamming, leading a game or two, packing up, etc.
* Teaching hand drum and percussion ensembles for after school programs, community centers, etc.
Up to 15 kids.
* Teaching drum set lessons and small group drum set classes
* Leading drum circles on your own- if you don't have experience with this, you'd build up to this after training as an assistant.
I'm looking for someone who is great with kids down to 3 years old.
This is the most important quality you should have.
You should have a really cheerful and friendly voice for speaking with children.
Other than that, here are the things I'm looking for
* Proficient drummer with drum set, hand drumming or percussion experience.
* Experience teaching music
* Reliable transportation
* Generally available on Saturday and Sunday mornings and afternoons.
This is when we book the most events.

The after school classes would be in Santa Ana.
Lots of gig coming up in the next few months in Santa Ana, Long Beach, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach and nearby areas.
The first gig would be assisting me at a drum circle on Sunday, March 24, 6-8PM.
pays $100.
You can get an idea what type of events we do.
The gigs pay $100-$130.
Some school assemblies pay $200.
