*Position Overview:*
FWC has a current opportunity available for a *Medical Malpractice* *Attorney.
* The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of litigation experience in matters involving the healthcare industry and will be a current member of the California State Bar from an ABA-accredited law school.
Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong organizational, writing, and analytical skills.
*Associate Attorney Qualifications:*
* JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
* Admitted to practice in California
* Medical background and/or familiarity with medical records and terms is a plus\*
* Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Must possess strong written and analytical skills, as well as be committed to exceptional client service.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to multitask
* Detailed oriented and strong rapport-building skills
* Exercising a high degree of initiative, independence, and the ability to meet time frames in performing assigned tasks.
*Associate Attorney Responsibilities:*
* Consistently engage in the preparation of client-ready reports, formal and informal
* Independently manage a high-volume caseload
* Regularly handle court appearances and depositions/trial preparation
* Legal research, discovery, fact investigation, law, and motion practice interface with expert witnesses, social media investigations
