4+ years' experience.
Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, is well-organized, able to set priorities, take initiative and work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
This is a Paralegal position in the firm's business litigation department, assisting attorneys who practice in all facets of litigation.
Communication, written and verbal, to case participants including client, opposing counsel and witnesses.
Review of court documents, court orders and other relevant case documents for deadlines.
Organize litigation case materials, create privilege logs, case updates, deposition summaries, review document productions, and perform pre-trial preparation which includes preparation of depositions and trial exhibits, etc.
Efiling/filing with the court (e-file and hard copy methods), service of pleadings and discovery on parties.
Draft various types of documents including correspondence, status reports, pleadings, discovery, fee agreements.
Preparation of TOCs and TOAs.
Prepare and Bates stamp documents for production.
Responsible for implementing task-based insurance company billing procedures (i.
e.
, reports, budgets, billing rates, etc.
).
*QUALIFICATIONS*
Must have 4 years' legal experience.
Must be proficient in Word and Adobe Pro, Excel helpful*.

Must be able to independently format pleadings, motions and discovery, including TOA/TOCs.
Must be able to independently file and serve documents with state, federal, complex and appellate courts (e-file/e-serve and hard copy methods), using platforms such as: One Legal, File & Serve Xpress, Trufiling, Case Home Page and Case Anywhere.
Must have knowledge of litigation calendaring and use of an electronic calendar system, particularly Compulaw.
Former trial experience helpful.
Knowledge of task-based insurance billing practices helpful.
