Job Summary :
The Senior Paralegal will be responsible for providing legal support to attorneys in the firm's fathers' rights practice.
The Senior Paralegal will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the paralegal team, as well as handling complex legal tasks and cases independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the paralegal team, including assigning tasks and managing workload
Conduct legal research and analysis
Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses
Assist attorneys in the preparation for trial, including organizing and reviewing evidence, preparing witness lists, and drafting motions and briefs
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
Manage case files and documents, including organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files
Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, and hearings
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and a paralegal certificate from an accredited institution
At least 5 years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in a fathers' rights practice
Strong research and writing skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
