BERTRAM 20’ SPORTSMAN - $22,000 (Costa mesa)

Up for sale a 1970 Bertram 20’ Sportsman.
Boat was restored in 2019’ Everything that was done/new: Converted to an outboard bracket Awl grip paint/non-skid New 76 gallon aluminum fuel tank New Sea star hydraulic steering helm/ram New electrical wiring New VHF/8’ antenna New Rule 1500 gph bilge pump New Yamaha binnacle/ignition switch/ tachometer The Hull: An original 1970 sportsman center console.
This puppy was sitting in a barn in Gonzaga bay in Baja for 30-35 years.
Bought it from a friend/neighbor.
Sweet little rig.
Wide for its size.
The motor: A 1992 Yamaha 200 OX66 2 stroke.
Has a new power head on it.
Installed in 2019.
Oil pump/system has been removed.
It now runs pre mixed gas.
75:1 ish.
Motor has around 60 ish hours since new head.
The 3 carbs were also cleaned and rebuilt.
This is a cool little boat.
Wide for its size.
Handles well in the ocean.
Goes way too fast.
Like 40+ knots.
It’s a battle wagon Big raised deck in the bow.
Great for casting from.
Big storage hatch under as well.
Decent sized insulated fish hold in the floor of the boat.
Storage in the console along with electronics/ 2 bank battery charger.
Blue sea switch panel and battery switch.
76 gallon Fuel tank under the console.
Was made by Cliff at Berrys Sheet metal in Santa Ana.
Sending unit works as it should.
Also had an extra removable 3/8 plug in the top of the tank installed so you can fit a 1/4” wooden dowel to dip the tank.
2 Batteries are under you feet just behind console.
Lean post was second hand.
(Upholstery could use a re-do).
V6 motor was removed.
Stainless steel fuel filter bracket.
There is a thru hole valve ready to be plumbed for a bait tank.
Sitting on a 2008 KARVN galvanized trailer.
