As the Pipeline & Pump Station Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to: • Focus on delivery of a high-profile project for a major client in the Las Vegas Valley, the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA).
SNWA’s Horizon Lateral Project is an essential component to delivering a reliable water source to the Valley and includes design and construction of large-diameter steel pipe (120-inch to 72-inch), hard and soft ground tunnels, pump stations, buried reservoirs, rate of flow control structures, valve vaults and other appurtenances.
This program is in the Preliminary Design phase and will be advancing to final design in 2024.
• Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians to produce deliverables on diverse and challenging Water/Wastewater projects.
Supervise and mentor engineering staff and identify developmental growth opportunities • Assist with developing new business for major municipal clients • Manage budgets, scheduling, and correspondence with Clients and project management in support of a project The Team BV’s Governments & Environment business works to provide innovative solutions and integrated planning, design and construction support for mission-critical facilities, as well as threat reduction and environmental services support worldwide.

Technical Expertise: • Ability to lead large multi-discipline teams and drive solutions to meet deliverables • Previous experience with large-diameter welded steel pipe design • Experience with pipeline design and construction within an urban setting • Knowledge of pipeline and pump station hydraulics and sizing • Knowledge of rate of flow control structure design Management Responsibilities Supervises work of others.
Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates.
Preferred Qualifications • Ability and motivation to lead complex pipeline and pump station projects • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides for pipeline and pump station projects • Knowledge of pipeline and pump station construction techniques • Knowledge of trenchless applications • Knowledge of utility crossings and best practices • Industry knowledge and technology trends • Knowledge of procurement and contract administration • Experience and ability to support proposals with marketing with technical ideas and approaches Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
Minimum of 8 years related work experience.

Certifications Professional engineering registration is preferred, with the ability to obtain a PE License in Nevada.

Additional professional registration or licensure may be needed when practicing or on assignment in a different country.
