Responsibilities:
Hours Saturday & Sunday 2pm to 10pm
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children age 3yrs @ 9yrs.
- Engage children in educational and age-appropriate activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Prepare meals and snacks for the children
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the children's care
- Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding the children's activities and any concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience in babysitting, childcare, or related roles
- Experience working with children of different ages, from infants to toddlers to preschoolers
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and educational games for children
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with children in a caring and nurturing manner
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
Skills:
- Educate: Ability to provide educational support and engage children in learning activities
- Babysitting: Experience in providing care for children on a temporary basis
- Experience with Children: Previous experience working with children in a professional or personal setting
- Clean: Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the childcare environment
- Preschool: Knowledge of early childhood development and experience working with preschool-aged children
- Daycare: Familiarity with daycare routines and regulations
- Infant Care: Experience in caring for infants, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques
- Nannying: Previous experience as a nanny, providing full-time or part-time care for families
- Toddler Care: Ability to meet the unique needs of toddlers, including mealtime assistance, potty training, and age-appropriate activities
- Caregiving: Compassionate approach to caring for children's physical, emotional, and social needs
