The Goddard School in San Clemente, is a premier preschool for children from six weeks to six years, who are encouraged to develop at their own pace in a nurturing environment, lovingly guided by our highly skilled, professional teachers.

*DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES* All teachers work together and conduct the following:
~ Developing and implementing lesson plans
~ Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom
~ Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills
~ Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow faculty
~ Meeting Goddard Quality Assurance and California state requirements
~ Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
*JOB REQUIREMENTS* *Lead Teacher Qualifications*
\* Prior classroom experience (Infant, Toddler or Preschool)
\* Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
\* Strong written and communication skills
\* Must have completed (or registered) 12 ECE units
*For consideration in this position, you must have:*
1) Have a current TB clearance prior to employment
2) Clear DOJ Livescan
3) Complete California state required health clearance
4) Have or be able to obtain state required immunizations
5) CPR and First Aid Certified is a plus
6) Covid-19 Vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated or tested as necessary
