*Reliable & Proactive Nanny/Family Assistant Needed in Costa Mesa, CA!* *$118,000-$133,000/year base compensation, amounting to $40-45/hour DOE plus add’l overtime and benefits* * Start date: January 2024 * Location: Costa Mesa, CA (Orange County) - 40 miles south of Los Angeles * Children: 3 year old & 5 year old girls * Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am-5:30pm, 50 hours paid guaranteed (14 overtime hours), with flexibility to work occasional overnights & weekends * The girls are spunky and fun! The oldest attends Kindergarten 9am - 2:30pm and loves arts & crafts.
The youngest attends half day preschool 9am - 12pm and is silly and social.
They both are in ballet & tap dance classes, and love the beach and water play.
* Responsibilities include working alongside mom and independently, transporting children to/from school or other activities, planning/meal prepping for the children (they tend to snack more than eat 3 meals), children’s laundry, creating fun educational activities, and family/household assistant duties during the day when the children are in school, such as maintaining children’s/household inventory, light errands, and help managing home projects, cleaning staff and contractors.
* The family’s ideal family assistant/nanny is proactive, punctual, reliable, has a laid back personality, is a self-starter, and can go with the flow! They would love for their nanny to become part of the family.
* The family travels a few weeks per year with their daughters to locations such as Northern VA, Nantucket, and anticipate international travel moving forward, and their ideal nanny would be able to accompany them! The family would also prefer a nanny who can stay overnight with the children when they independently travel.
* Transportation: A vehicle can be provided for transporting the children, if needed.
* The family has cleaning staff biweekly.
