We Are Seeking:
An experienced and visionary Director to lead Capstone Montessori into its bright future.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in childcare administration, proven leadership skills, and a passion for innovative early childhood education.
Position Summary:
As the Director of Capstone Montessori, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school, ensuring that our mission and educational standards are upheld.
You will work closely with staff to support a high-quality learning environment and maintain strong relationships with parents and the community.
The Director will also play a crucial role in staff development, curricular oversight, and the strategic growth of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the school in accordance with Montessori principles, promoting a culture of respect, kindness, and lifelong learning.
- Manage faculty and staff, including hiring, training, professional development, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure a safe, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing environment for students and staff.
- Develop and oversee the school budget, ensuring financial stability and responsible resource allocation.
- Implement comprehensive educational programs and assess their effectiveness.
- Foster strong community relations and effective communication with parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to refine and realize the school's strategic goals.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 12 ECE units is required; Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
- Montessori certification and/or extensive experience in a Montessori educational setting preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role within an educational environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the Montessori philosophy and a deep understanding of child development.
