CC's Learning Center offers a multicultural and developmentally appropriate preschool & infant program.
We are currently recruiting for an energetic, enthusiastic, caring Infant/Toddler Teacher to guide our infants in their development for ages birth-18 months of age, 1:4 ratio total of 8 infants.

*Responsibilities and Duties*
* Provide for the daily needs of children birth(newborn) to 18 months of age including meal assist, diapering, sleep and play routine.
* Set-up and maintain a safe, organized, attractive, developmentally appropriate classroom environment for infants/toddlers.
* Conduct ongoing observations of the children enrolled in the classroom.
* Maintain anecdotal records in order to assess each child's construction of knowledge and overall developmental progress.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
* Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
* Develop and maintain positive partnerships with co-workers, children, and parents.
* Develop and facilitate activities that will promote healthy, social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of each child, allowing the child to feel accepted and free to express feelings.
* Maintain attendance records and progress reports.
* Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety.
* Ensure inside and outside play areas are clean and in order.
* Ensure supplies are put away and children's areas are prepared, organized and clean for the following day.
* Maintain the health and safety of all students
*Qualifications and Skills*
* Bachelors Degree optional, ALL core units:12 Early Childhood Education Core Units: Human Development, Child in Home & Community, Curriculum plus one additional 3 unit Infant/Toddler Development class.
* Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Must have a current First Aid, CPR training card or be willing to obtain within first month of employment.
* Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, stoop, twist, bend, and sit on the floor with children.
* Must be able to relate well to both adults and children, and work effectively as part of a team.
* Must have the results of a current TB test and the results of an annual physical prior to the first day of employment.
* Must have updated Immunizations MMR/ Influenza and Dtap prior to the first day of employment.
* Must complete Livescan background clearance as defined by Community Care Licensing regulations.
* Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
* Passionate about working with children
* Ability to build rapport with children
