Employer will pay: Social Security & Medicare Taxes, Federal Unemployment Tax, CA Unemployment Tax, and other CA State Taxes and will be deducted from this amount.
These payments will be deducted from the BaseWage of $/hr.
Weekdays will be paid at straight wage $25/hr.
Saturday will be straight wage for 8 hours, and $37.
5/hr after 8 hours.
Sunday will be straight wage for 8 hours, and $50/hr after 8 hours.
2 – 3 weekends every month.
12:00 noon – 7:30 pm Fridays, 7:30 am – 7:30 pm Saturday and Sunday.
There will be some variability to account for vacations, sicktime, and personal leave.
Housekeeper will be working alongside Ann Shea’s Caregiver.
Ann Shea requires assistance in many ways as a result of a near fatal brain injury.
Housekeeper will assist Caregiver many times every day and whenever Ann is out of the house.
This assistance will just be an aid to the Caregiver.
The Housekeeper will not be providing Caregiving to Ann, except in support of the Caregiver as needed.
(examples: assist Caregiver when: Ann is showering, Ann is entering and exiting bathroom, getting into and getting up from her wheelchair, serving Ann meals, sometimes giving Caregiver a break when Ann is doing physical therapy, giving Caregiver a break by watching TV with Ann for a while, etc….
)
There will be generally 5 people to Cook and Clean for (Ann and Jim Shea, DayShift Caregiver, Housekeeper (herself), and James Jr.
(son of Jim and Ann)).
Breakfast: only for Ann and Housekeeper.
Lunch: Ann, Housekeeper.
Dinner: Ann and Jim, Caregiver, Housekeeper, James Jr.

There will be some assistance (Caregiver and Jim Shea) at dinnertime and afterward to help cleaning.
There will be some dinners (usually once every weekend) when the family will order take out.
Laundry duties will be for Ann, Jim, and James Jr.
Kitchen, LaundryRoom, LivingRoom, FamilyRoom, Ann’s WorkoutRoom, 4 bedrooms, and 5 bathrooms.
Housekeepers are working during the week… everyweek… so there is never a huge amount of HouseCleaning work to do on the weekends.
Housekeeper will be expected to assist in effort to keep manage the pets.
There are 2 cats and 1 large dog.
Feeding pets and maintaining kitty litter at night are the main tasks, along with occasional cleaning of dog.
Jim and Ann will pay for all food associated with all meals, so the Housekeeper will only pay for that food which she herself decides to consume separately from the meals provided by Jim and Ann.
