* THREE YEAR OLD PRESCHOOL TEACHER Job Summary The preschool teacher under daily direct supervision of the director under direction of the board of supervisors.
The permitted preschool teacher will be the lead teacher responsible for teaching and supervision of an assigned classroom of students following Title 22 and Title 5 regulations.
The teacher will work to maintain a positive learning environment in and outside the classroom.
Teacher will work with their assistant teacher in a team environment to create activities the foster the growth of their students developmental learning goals.
Teacher will work with their assistant teacher to create lesson plans, hold parent teacher conferences and complete student assessments.
The teacher will maintain the health and safety regulations of their classroom, and maintain professional behavior interactions while representing their director, board members and school.
Teachers will be required to keep their permit current and take trainings to maintain their knowledge and growth the child development field.

THANK YOU* *Minimum Qualifications:* * Upon hire must have a current Associate Teacher, Teacher or Master Teacher Permit issued and in good standing by the Commission of Teacher Credentialing in the State of California * Valid proof of the ability to work in the United States * Physicians statement of good health * Current TB Clearance * Current and up to date Immunizations, including MMR and Dtap vaccines * Current Influenza or waiver * Current EMSA approved Pediatric/ First Aid Card * Ability to speak, read, and write in English with comprehension Subject to hire, you will be asked to complete FBI and DOJ Fingerprint clearance and complete a Mandated Reporter Training.

Builds trust with each child and promotes social skills with peers.
Provides care and supervision to children at ALL times to maintain health and safety.
No child shall be left without the supervision of a permit teacher at any time except as allowed in Title 22 101216.

Responsible for all meal time activities- models acceptable eating behaviors at meal time by eating the same meal as the children.
Follows all CACFP requirements/record keeping, knowledge of all children with special dietary needs or children with an Incidental Medical Services Plan and follows appropriately.
* Assists children in developing age appropriate self-help skills including toilet training Listens to children's comments, questions and concerns and responds to them respectfully.
Redirects undesirable behaviors using strategies that are positive learning experiences and that maintain respect for the child.
* Greets children and families and ensures proper sign in/out procedures for children at drop off and pick-up.
* Conducts a daily health check of each child upon arrival and notifies the parent if the child is too ill to attend according to the center's health policy.
* Notifies assist teacher, director and parents of injuries and completes an accident/illness report Card/ out assigned activities under the direction of the teacher.
Maintains classroom routine and structure in the absence of the teacher by supporting and assisting substitutes.
* Assists and supports assistant teacher in paperwork requirements and child observations.
* Assist in cleaning and organizing of indoor and outdoor learning environments.

Physical Demands: Sit, stand, look with eyes and turn with neck in all directions, walk, bend, crouch or stoop, reach or stretch, twist, squat, kneel push and pull (Regularly).
Lift and carry up to 10 pounds (regularly); to 20 pounds (regularly); to 40 pounds (rarely).
Speak, hear, smell, see, and feel.
Working Conditions: Indoor classrooms, outdoor play yards and school grounds.
