Hello, and thank you for applying! We are a collection of youth services organizations, offering enrichment, academic, and fitness/sports classes throughout Orange County.
As we hear up for summer programs, we are looking for energetic individuals whom can fit into our summer camp and summer class schedules in lead and supporting roles.
we have a wide array of camps and classes, the majority of which hosting children age 8-13 years old, including, but not limited to, mind and body (academic and sports), Harry Potter reading and writing camp, sports and fitness camp, parkour camp, music and wiggles camp, and more! Additionally, we will have repeating classes for parkour, fitness, sports and games, and others that will last throughout the summer.
lastly, we will also be hosting “field day” events, which will include a variety of outside sports and games for other organizations.
We are looking for counselors who can help assist in our sports or Academic camps, or both!
job responsibilities will include:
- assisting in classroom management
-setting up and taking down equipment each day
-engaging campers
-assisting lead counselor or leading class
-following class plans
- taking notes and recording daily schedule and activities
- assisting campers in activities
-taking children to water or bathroom breaks
- helping lead small groups
and more!
We are ideally looking for those who have experience working with children, and are go getters! We appreciate candidates who aren’t afraid to get involved, and feel comfortable working with children.
Most importantly, we want our campers to have a GREAT experience, and this relies heavily on the counselors.
Our counselors should be outgoing people who know how to get kids excited and involved!
We need reliable candidates who can really help make these memorable experiences for the children.
If you cannot be counted on to show up on time and each day throughout the summer, please do not bother applying.
most camps run from 9-12pm M-F, though some afternoon camps will run from 1-4pm.
each half day will pay between 350 to 500 per week depending on your role (assistant, junior, or lead counselor).
This pay will include early arrival and check out times, so expect each day to be 3.
5 hours (15 minutes early and leaving 15 minutes after to help clean up).
there will also be oppurunities to work full days as well as assist in additional classes we run throughout the summer which repeat weekly.
We currently have 20 camps planned, with a possible 10 more to come.
We ask that anyone applying be able to work at least 8-10 of the weeks of campo to be considered.
ADDITIONALLY, we are looking for candidates to help run our spring break camps as well (weeks of 3/18 and 4/1).
