Parker-Anderson Enrichment is a private enrichment company offering fun and educational after school classes.
We are currently looking for bright, energetic people to teach and/or assist with after school enrichment programs in schools throughout Orange County.
We want teachers, artists, coaches, college students, and the like, who love what they do, are organized, can learn fun, exciting, educational lessons for elementary school students, and will work to inspire them! Materials and curriculum are provided for each class.
Our year-round classes are in many different disciplines (science, Spanish, soccer, robotics, cooking, chess, technology, art, etc.
) so an all around great, energetic person is required.
We are currently looking for instructors to start for upcoming fall programs starting in September.
We have openings for technology, soccer, robotics, science, Spanish, art, cooking, and chess programs among others.
We love to find those who are interested in learning to teach multiple programs and are open to new experiences.
This is an excellent part time option for educators, artists, free lancers, and/or child care workers out there.

Requirements:
Have experience working with children in schools, day care, or camps
Willing to travel to different schools in the afternoon with reliable transportation (mileage is reimbursed after 20 miles round trip (10 miles each way from base location) and fully between school sites.
Able to keep the supplies for the classes for the duration of the 6-10 week programs
Comfortable working with large groups of students - experience with classroom management a plus
Covid vaccination is a plus
Responsible for monitoring students during pick up, drop off before and after class
Detail oriented - able to keep classroom locations in good condition
Have an engaging, exciting, and fun personality
Be punctual and organized
Can commit to the entire 6-10 week class (example, one class would run for 8 weeks on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays)
Complete a TB test and LiveScan before starting the classes - expenses are reimbursed by company
This is a part-time job.
The average instructor will work 2-5 classes per week, depending on availability and experience.
Do not apply if looking for full time work.
Compensation: $40-$60/afternoon visit to a school/one hour classes - one class per day (sometimes two if scheduling allows).
