Overnight Child Care Worker

New Alternatives is looking for someone to join the team to provide care and support to foster youth ages 6-13 in a residential home.
This job is a perfect fit for someone who wants to grow in the field of social work and help youth feel secure and heal from trauma.
Job requirements Include but are not limited to: * *Overnight shift : Wednesday - Sunday from 11pm - 7am* * Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
* 6 months of experience with children ( internship and volunteering qualifies).
* Must possess a valid California Driver's License, proof of auto insurance, and have access to a reliable automobile.
* Capability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with child and family.
* Ensuring the safety and supervision of the clients throughout the night.
* Providing emotional support to the youth if they wake up throughout the night.
* Cleaning, Organizing, completing laundry, and coordinating care for the youth as needed.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $37,440.
