This is a Friends Outside contract position at California Rehabilitation Center in Norco , CA providing assistance to visitors through the Visitor Center, a sheltered area, which is outside of the security perimeter, for visitors who are waiting before or after visits or need services which include transportation, child care for visitors' children, emergency clothing, information on visiting regulations and processes.
The Children’s Activity Coordinator’s responsibilities include:
* Develop, plan and coordinate age-appropriate children’s activities.
* Attend to children’s personal needs, and maintain a safe VC playroom.
* Supervise children’s activities.
Maintain complete and accurate records.
*Required Qualifications:*
High school diploma or GED.
Three units of Early Childhood Education coursework completed by the date of hire OR One year of formal related work experience with children may be substitutes for the Early Childhood Education units.
CPR Certification prior to hire.
*Compensation:* $18.
00/hour
*Hours: * 24 hours/week: Friday 11:00 AM- 7:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday 8:00 - 4:00 PM *AND*
*Holidays:* 4 major holidays: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
