Golf Academy is currently looking for part-time coaches in the South Orange County Area.
Preferably closer to Newport, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Mission Viejo.
We are in need of coaches throughout the year to teach golf to kids!
We use GOLF as a vehicle to teach life lessons and academic concepts by creating fun and engaging golf classes ON SCHOOL CAMPUSES throughout Orange County.
After School Classes are usually 1- 1.
5 hours each and typically run anytime between the hours of 1:00pm-4:00pm.
Please note, we pay for setup/cleanup times so each class may run for 1 hour but expect early arrival to setup and staying after to clean up.
Student Ages:5-12
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Must be enthusiastic and love working with and teaching children
- Ability to step out of your comfort zone and be a kid
- Must have transportation (all programs are run at local schools and park facilities).
- Must have a phone for communicating with management
- Ability to self-manage and be on time (classes are held after school in the afternoons)
- Experience and desire working with, teaching, and coaching children
- Must be able bodied to carry, roll, lift and set up an equipment pack (20-50lbs)
- Passion for physical fitness, children, golf and sports in general
- Previous sports instruction experience is welcome but not required - just a passion for sports in general; TGA provides curriculum training.
