We are looking for a compassionate male or female Caregiver to care for and assist 2 Females adults with Autism and other intellectual disabilities.
We are located in Orange, CA.
Both clients display some Challenging behaviors throughout the day.
Behaviors include biting, pulling hair, smacking with an open fist, and self-injurious Behaviors.
Behavior happens occasionally and varies daily; please remember that some days, behaviors occur all day, and sometimes none.
Due to Behaviors, you will work in a team of 2-3 staff per shift.
Therefore strong team player skills are a must.
Client communication is limited,
Duties
-Light housekeeping
-Data collection
-Driving clients around the community in their vehicles.
-engaging the client throughout the shift.
-Communicating with the Manager, Parents, and Team Lead daily.
-Going out on Hikes, malls, parks, pool
-\* swimming with the client is optional; however, there is an additional pay rate if you can assist in the pool.
$40 per that hour you are in the pool
Ideal candidate is someone with experience working with challenging behaviors and adults or
Kids with Mod/ severe Autism Caregivers Must be reliable, punctual, and Responsible.
